Save the Date: 2025 Girard Homecoming & Fall Festival
Mark your calendars and get ready for one of Girard’s favorite traditions! The 2025 Girard Homecoming & Fall Festival is set for an exciting weekend of school spirit, community celebration, and fall fun.
Friday, October 17th – GHS Homecoming & Paint the Town
Show your Trojan pride and cheer on the GHS Trojans as they celebrate Homecoming! Join us downtown for Paint the Town festivities and help us kick off the weekend with maroon and gold spirit everywhere you look.
Saturday, October 18th – Fall Festival & Homecoming Celebration
The fun continues on Saturday with the Girard Fall Festival on the historic Girard Square! You won’t want to miss:

🎶 Live music & entertainment
🎈 Free kids’ games & activities
🛍️ Local vendors and delicious food

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in Girard, KS, by organizing and promoting vibrant, inclusive, and engaging community events. In partnership with the Girard Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Girard, and other community organizations, we strive to create memorable experiences that foster community spirit, support local businesses, and celebrate our city's unique culture and heritage.

Our vision is to make Girard a hub of community engagement and cultural celebration, where diverse events bring people together, strengthen local connections, and inspire civic pride. Through strong partnerships with the Girard Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Girard, and various community organizations, we aim to be a leading example of collaboration and creativity, ensuring that every event we host contributes to Girard, KS's social and economic vitality.
Bringing the Community Together
We are a dedicated group of volunteers working to bring exciting and engaging events to our community! From festivals and parades to seasonal celebrations, our goal is to create memorable experiences that bring people together and support local businesses.
While we work closely with the City of Girard and the Girard Area Chamber of Commerce, we are a separate committee. The Chamber helps oversee and house our bank accounts, but we operate independently, driven by community support and volunteer efforts.
