Our Services

 The Girard E(ntrepreneurship) Leadership team works with area businesses to provide matching loan funds for startups, expansions, business purchases and more. This program is in conjunction with Network Kansas. To date, the Girard E-Community has made 9 loans for over $150,000 in investments in the Girard area.

 The Neighborhood Revitalization Program is a combined effort of the City of Girard, Crawford County and the USD 248 school district. It is a 10 year tax rebate program on new construction or improvements to structures within the Girard city limits and is available to both commercial and residential properties.

 The Girard Main Street, Girard Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Girard have partnered to establish a downtown grant program that will accomplish two objectives:
​
1. Revitalize the historic square through banners and historical marker plaques along the sidewalks in front of businesses showing historical significance of the location.
2. Assist commercial property owners inside the improvement zone with restoration.
