Annual Shop Girard

Every December, Girard comes alive with the spirit of shopping local during our Annual Shop Girard event! This festive tradition encourages community members to support participating businesses across Girard, Kansas, while giving them a chance to win exciting prizes.

Here’s how it works: Participating businesses will have cards and stickers available. Each time you make a purchase, your card gets a sticker! Once your card is filled, drop it off at the Girard Chamber of Commerce to be entered into a cash drawing! 

Businesses interested in participating can contact the Chamber of Commerce for details. Participation is free for Chamber members or $25 for non-members. 

Funds collected are used to provide cards and stickers for each participating business. All completed cards are returned to the Chamber and entered into a $500 total cash drawing (two winners of $250.00 each), giving shoppers even more reason to celebrate and support local!
